Token - Rive Assets

Token Rive Animations

I had the pleasure of working with the always wonderful team at Ever Wonder on a series of interactive Rive assets for the newly redesigned Token site.

Ever Wonder had a strong visual system in place, so my job was to help bring some of those static elements to life. I took the existing artwork and added hover and proximity-based interactions, combining animation states in Rive to make the page feel more responsive and alive.

The trick was not to overdo it. These weren’t meant to be giant “look at me” animations, they were small moments of motion that support the design and add a little personality.

I worked with Mat, the CTO at EW, to expose variables and pass along data to some custom HubSpot modules he cooked up. We ended up designing a small framework to implement future Rive assets on upcoming jobs.

NYU One Day 2026 Socials

NYU One Day 2026 Socials

For this NYU project, Love Local Design handled the layouts and storyboards, and I came in to bring everything to life through animation.

The assets were built in Adobe XD and then brought into After Effects. I set up the scenes, animated transitions, and added the timing and motion needed to make the piece stand out on social media.

NYU always seems willing to explore fun visual directions, which makes these projects a pleasure. There’s usually a room to play, but finding ways to add rhythm and personality helped make this one tick!

A fun collaboration, and a great example of how strong boards and thoughtful animation work together.

Zig Zag

Zig Zag Animation inspired by Fitz and the Tantrums song, Zig Zag.

My kids love this song, and honestly, so do I.

After hearing it enough times, a few ideas started bouncing around in my head, so I decided to turn that energy into a short animation. The piece combines 3D animation, typography, and After Effects motion graphics all timed to the rhythm and feel of the track.

I didn’t want it to simply illustrate the song. The goal was more about capturing the mood; upbeat, playful, and a little kinetic all while giving myself room to experiment with style, movement, and transitions.

Sometimes a song gets stuck in your head long enough that it turns into a project... More to come?

Best Western Members Conference

Best Western Members Conference multiscreen animations.

I animated a series of multi-screen, multi-4K animations for the Best Western Members Conference at the Seattle Convention Center for Go Productions.

The animations spanned 17 separate screens and included looping segments built for a large-scale stage environment. Working at that size adds a whole extra layer to the process. You’re not just making something look good in a frame, you’re thinking about how motion travels across a room, how the screens work together, and how to keep everything feeling polished and intentional at a massive scale.

Go Productions produced the initial looks and also additional animations for the show, working with a variety of animators, and Y Thrower served as Creative Director. I handled my animation work in Cinema 4D and After Effects, building out 3D and motion graphics elements for the multi-screen setup.

Big canvas, big renders, and GPUs brought to their knees.

Stay Down

Stay Down short film with roto work and match replacement.

The producers for this short film needed a handful of shots cleaned up, so I helped with some invisible VFX work.

The job involved rotoscoping, masking, background replacements, and creating clean plates to remove a few unwanted elements from the footage. It’s the kind of work that ideally disappears if the cleanup is done well, the audience never knows anything was changed.

It came down to matching movement, rebuilding little pieces of the frame, and making sure the fixes blended naturally with the original footage. Not flashy, necessarily, but very satisfying when it works.

Let me know if you need a visual effects barber for your shots.

Strongman: The Brian Shaw Story

4-Part Documentary Event

Victory Road Studios produced this 4-part documentary chronicling the final competitive season of Brian Shaw, one of the greatest strength athletes in history.

I created the title graphics, chapter titles, main poster, and supporting social media elements for the series. The creative goal was to give the project a strong, cinematic visual identity that could carry across the episodes, promotional materials, and social rollout.

With a subject like Brian Shaw, there’s already a huge sense of scale built into the story. The graphics needed to feel bold and powerful, but also restrained enough to support the documentary rather than overpower it.

It was a great project to be part of, part title design, part branding package, and part visual support for a legendary final chapter.

CSDF Sizzle

Connecticut State Dental Foundation Intro and Explainer

CSDF, the Connecticut State Dental Foundation, came to Ever Wonder to create a video showcasing who they are, what they do, and the impact of their work.

I worked with Ever Wonder to edit the video clips and add motion graphic treatments and visual effects to  bring the story together. The idea was to make the piece feel clear, polished, and approachable while supporting CSDF’s message.

Projects like this are a good reminder that motion design does not always need to be loud to be effective. Sometimes it’s about helping the information land and keeping the viewer engaged.

A great collaboration with Ever Wonder for a meaningful Connecticut-based organization.

UGrieve Video Series

UGrieve Video Series for higher ed students and faculty

I worked with the Parmenter Foundation to edit and create graphics for a 7-module program totaling over 70 minutes of content.

The program was designed to help grieving students find the resources, understanding, and community they need to thrive. Its mission is to foster campus cultures where compassion is part of the everyday environment, and where students, faculty, and staff feel empowered to support one another through the grieving process.

My role was to help turn the material into a clear and cohesive video series through editing, pacing, and supporting graphics. The work needed to feel polished and accessible, but also respectful of the subject matter.

It was a meaningful project to be part of, focusing on care, connection, and helping people show up for each other when it matters most.

UKG One View For All

UKG One View for All Sizzle Video

UKG came to Ever Wonder and I to create a concise product video introducing UKG One View.

The goal was to take a complex payroll solution and make it feel clear, polished, and easy to understand. The video combines motion graphics, footage, sound effects, and tight editing to show how UKG One View consolidates payroll data across 160+ countries and 120+ currencies.

The platform gives managers and employees a single pane of glass, regardless of local payroll provider, while helping streamline multi-country payroll operations through a uniform model, real-time validation, and payment services.

My role was to help shape that story visually using motion, pacing, transitions, and sound to keep the information moving and make a fairly dense enterprise topic feel more accessible.

Complex product, clear story. Always a fun challenge!
